Our skin can lose it’s vibrancy due to a number of factors including our lifestyle, sun and also environmental damage. In addition, our pores can get clogged up by daily build up of dirt and oils, leading to an increased risk of breakouts. Here at Define clinic we recommend a Dermal Infusion treatment to all those looking to improve their overall skin health. A Dermal Infusion facial can tackle a range of skin concerns, including hyperpigmentation, breakouts, dehydration and photodamage, even early signs of ageing.
How Does The Dermal Infusion Work?
It’s a 3 in 1 treatment which can simultaneously exfoliate the skin, extract debris such as dirt and dead skin cells and then infuse the skin with bespoke serums to treat your unique skin conditions. This penetrates deep into the skin during the exfoliation process, resulting in immediate long-lasting results. However, for the ultimate result, we recommend having a few sessions, a few weeks apart.
The serums used are dependent on your skin type and area of concern. For example, a serum might include salicylic acid for acne and hyaluronic acid for moisturisation. After the treatment, you may experience mild redness initially, but otherwise the skin will be looking a lot brighter, fuller and healthier. There is also little to no down time with this treatment. It is suitable for many areas of the body, including the face, neck, arms and upper back, although commonly used on the face and neck. It’s also gentle enough to use on sensitive areas such as around the eyes and lips.
There are so many benefits to having a Dermal Infusion facial. One being people who suffer from hyperpigmentation and scarring can see a real change in their skin. People who have dull skin will see an incredible improvement, as their skin will look so much more vibrant and healthy. The layer of skin clogged with dirt that’s been sat on top of a fresher, healthier skin is exfoliated away and reveals the better you!
At Define Clinic, we utilise the Dermal Infusion facial as a treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, dull and tired skin, hyperpigmentation ,sun damage, dry skin, controlling oil production, congested skin and blocked pores, acne and improving the skin’s texture (so quite a lot!).
