Where It Started For Dr Elina Kovalenko
Dr Elina Kovalenko’s journey into the world of medicine began at Kharkiv Medical State University in Ukraine. She graduated with honours as a Doctor of Infectious Diseases in 2009. Her early career was marked by a strong foundation in infectious diseases, which provided her with extensive knowledge and experience in handling complex medical conditions. This background laid the groundwork for her future specialisation in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
In 2015, Dr Kovalenko furthered her medical education by certifying as a Doctor in Dermatology. Over the course of seven years working in various departments at the Region Infectious Disease Hospital in Ukraine, she gained comprehensive experience and developed a keen interest in skin health and aesthetics.

In 2019, Dr Kovalenko’s passion for aesthetic medicine led her to the UK, where she joined Define Clinic.
