Skincare is a big thing here at Define Clinic and we only recommend products that we love and have medical grade research behind them. One of our champion ranges here at Define is the Obagi skincare range. Obagi products are specially formulated to transform the skin from within, smoothing fine lines, wrinkles, bumpy skin and other signs of ageing. Obagi also has products to reduce dark spots and hyper-pigmentation, as well as to address skin issues such as acne. A lot of the staff here use Obagi products themselves, and we often get asked what our personal favourites are. So here they are below!
Gentle Cleanser
We love this product because it leaves the skin feeling super clean and fresh. It gently removes impurities, oil and makeup which leaves the skin feeling clean. It helps to transform the skin’s appearance by brightening the complexion, revealing younger and healthier looking skin. We recommend applying the cleanser to a damp face and neck and then rinse completely to remove everyday dirt and makeup from your skin. Use the cleanser twice a day – once during the morning and again in the evening.
Clarifying Serum
Another favorite of ours is the clarifying serum, which either targets normal to dry skin, or normal to oily skin. This product is great because it reduces pigmentation whilst adding a brightening effect. It leaves the skin looking luminous and feeling amazing! After washing your face, apply 5-7 drops of serum to the entire face and massage gently.
Obagi Hydrate Facial Moisturiser
This moisturiser is one of the best out there in our opinion. It is clinically shown to improve the moisture content of the skin and provide hydration for up to eight hours. It helps to soothe dry, flaky skin and helps to enhance skiing smoothness. A Define Clinic team member suffered from really dry skin around her nose and mouth area and this product was an absolute lifesaver for her. You can apply this to your face in both the morning and evening. We highly recommend it!
Obagi Hydro-Drops
The hydro-drops are a very popular product at the clinic and our team (and many of our patients) include this in their daily skin care routine! The weightless formula produces instant hydration to help soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for more radiant, healthy looking skin. You can apply this in the morning and evening after cleansing.
Obagi HydraFactor Broad Spectrum SPF
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again… SPF is a daily ESSENTIAL! One of our favourites is this SPF from Obagi. The dual-function moisturising cream has soothing ingredients and broad spectrum SPF sun protection to help prevent skin damage caused by UVA and UVB rays. Apply this 15-30 minutes before sun exposure and apply as needed throughout the day.
