Dr Lucy Steed
Dr Lucy Steed is a GP with over 15 years of experience across both the NHS and private sectors. Having graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009, she holds postgraduate qualifications in child health, reproductive health, lifestyle medicine, and advanced menopause care, and is a British Menopause Society (BMS) Registered Menopause Specialist.
Her early clinical work in genitourinary medicine and adult psychiatry shaped a lasting interest in women’s health and mental wellbeing—both now central to her specialist menopause practice.
Dr Steed co-leads the menopause and wellbeing service at [Define] Clinic and has been instrumental in co-creating and delivering a specialist NHS community menopause service through her local GP federation. She continues to work in urgent care and NHS general practice, alongside her specialist roles.

Since early 2022 Dr Steed has been practising as a menopause specialist, providing
remote consultations to women all across the UK.
Her clinical approach is rooted in holistic, evidence-based care. She is particularly passionate about the intersection of menopause and mental health, and sees this stage of life as a vital opportunity to focus on prevention, long-term wellbeing, and empowering women with accurate information.
She regularly gives talks to her local community on menopause and lifestyle medicine, and contributes to professional education and advocacy.
Outside of work, Dr Steed is a mum to two young boys and enjoys travelling, arts, crafts, cooking, and time with family and friends.
